Todays PSHE day had a focus of living in the wider world.  Y7 pupils spent the day trying out their entrepreneurial skills with the Inspirational Learning Group.  The challenge set helped pupils to develop their STEM skills as well as promoting the useful skills of teamwork, problem solving and communication. The winning team will get the opportunity to present their product in Birmingham next year!

The Y8s had sessions on developing their interpersonal skills, how to manage stress, their rights and responsibilities in the workplace and also started to look at choosing their options.  The Y8s also has a teams talk from the executive director of Mary’s meals.  Mary’s Meals is a global movement that sets up school feeding programmes in communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education.

The Y9s began to think about their Post 16 choices and the advantages of volunteering.  Y9s also did sessions on equality and COP26.

The Y10s went on College visits for the day and the Y11s went to Nottingham Trent University
