Yesterday we had a very competitive day of rowing with our School House Competition. Our students from Felley, Cromford, Hardwick and Stanton all competed for the furthest distance in rowing. With volunteers from each year group for each house the atmosphere in the Hall was electrifying. Those students not competing were cheering on those that were.
Congratulations to Hardwick who came 1st grand total of 31,562m
2nd place: Felley – total 31,245m
3rd place: Stanton – 30,700m
4th place: Cromford – 29,871m
Staff members also got in on the action with a staff rowing competition. It was a nail biting finish with Hardwick just beating Felley.
