Year 10 Mock Interviews: Building Confidence for the Future
This week students participated in mock interviews as part of PSHE day, providing them with a valuable opportunity to be interviewed by unfamiliar faces from the world of work. This experience was designed to help students build confidence ahead of real interviews with employers and Key Stage 4 providers in the future.
Many students felt nervous initially, but they should all be proud of their efforts. Each student now has the experience of an interview behind them, which will undoubtedly benefit them in their future endeavours.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the following employers for their invaluable support:
- Chesterfield College
- Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
- Army
- Police
- GF Tomlinson
- HMRC
- Derby College
- West Nottinghamshire College
- Supply Register
- Drury Joinery
- Two Counties Trust
- Collins Earthworks
- Rolls Royce
The mock interviews were an excellent opportunity for students to gain real-world experience and receive constructive feedback from professionals in various fields. The event highlighted the importance of ambition and preparation in achieving career goals.
Congratulations to all Year 10 students for their hard work and dedication during the mock interviews. We look forward to seeing their continued growth and success in the future.
