Yesterday, we were proud to host the The Two Counties Trust Varsity Chess Competition, bringing together students from across the Trust for a fantastic day of strategy, skill, and friendly competition.
We are delighted to share that our school secured 3rd place, a fantastic achievement against strong competition from fellow Trust schools.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for students to challenge themselves, develop their problem-solving skills, and connect with peers from across the Trust. We are incredibly proud of all the students who represented our school with determination, resilience, and excellent sportsmanship throughout the day.
A huge well done Halle Wade, Tommy Atkins, Millie Pepper, Bobby O’Donnell, Violet Isdale and Dexter Hayes. A extra special mention to Bobby O’Donnell who also this week won our House Competition for Chess and was awarded a prize. ♟️
