Wednesday 25th May is the opening of the new TTCT reads in the Library. As part of a record breaking £52,000 Trust-wide literacy initiative, with 750 brand new books at Frederick Gent, we want these shelves emptied and the books issued out to be read in the community by our students. What a great way to relax over the holiday break!
Reading is the single biggest indicator for success in life, more than family circumstances, educational background or income. Our fantastic Library staff are waiting for students on Wednesday for the grand opening of the brand-new TTCT section to issue them for the first time. The ribbon will be cut -time to take out those books!
