A big well done to Year 7 student Emi Johnstone-Pykett.
On the 19th of February she competed with her team the Ice gems at the British Sychronized Skating Championships where there scored the highest score ever achieved by a Juvenile team in the UK. Emi has also competed in her solo category, trying some of the hardest jumps and spins she has ever put in a competition. She competed in the Steel City Trophy and the British Championships with her squad.
Emi’s team, has retained their British Championship title for a third year running. Well done!
