A group of our students recently enjoyed a fantastic visit to the Waterstones store in Nottingham, where they took part in a range of engaging activities exploring different books, authors and genres. The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for students to discover new reading interests and develop their love of literature.

As part of the experience, each student was able to choose a book to keep and enjoy reading over the summer holidays. They have also been given a short follow-up activity to complete once they have finished reading their book, allowing them to share their thoughts and opinions. Some of this work may be featured in a display in the school library in September.

The students represented the school brilliantly and thoroughly enjoyed their day.
